Seven scary true horror stories in this 15th anniversary special. The story follows Yonemura Hiroko, a bank clerk reeling from the betrayal of her lover, who is engaged to another woman. After a public outburst, Hiroko’s senior Tsuchiya Taeko steps in at the request of the branch manager, first by taking her to dinner and offering her to transfer to the better branch, and later by involving her in a new acquaintance whom they accidentally met in a peculiar way. That acquaintance turns out to be Sekimoto Shinsaku, a former professional baseball player struggling with his past and lack of confidence. Together, Hiroko, Tsuchiya, and Sekimoto invest in revamping a failing coffee shop called “River”, transforming it into "Terrace". As they struggle through setbacks and rebuild the shop, each of them slowly overcomes their emotional scars while pursuing their dream.

Tamotsu Iwaki (Masaya Kato), also known as "The Dandruff Cancer," was admitted to a juvenile training school in the summer when he was 18 years old after being hit with dirt on his car. At first he is at odds with Ginji (Shinobu Sakagami) and others, but eventually a friendship develops between them. One day, Gan escapes, falls in love with a beautiful girl, Kanako, whom he met at his friends' apartment, and attacks her in an elevator, but is captured again. After being discharged from the hospital, Gan meets Kanako again, and although they are repulsed by each other, they become attracted to each other.
After the events of the TV series, the 18 year old Yoko Godai has abandoned her special agent Saki Asamiya name to return to her normal life, and is now studying for college entrance exams. However, she accidentally bumps into a young man named Kazuo Hagiwara trying to escape from a group of hitmen, and learns that he comes from Sanko Academy, a private school located in a remote island known as Hell's Castle. The school is ruled by a former revolutionary thought to be dead named Hattori who is trying to brainwash students into terrorists to help him stage a fascist coup d'etat in Japan.
