9-year old Valdemar lives with his father Bo on a country house in the province. They have a friendly relationship, but Bo is suffering from alcohol problems, and Valdemar must therefore often be the adult one and take responsibility for himself. When Valdemar one day suspects the nurse Ulla for wanting to force him away from Bo, he starts an imaginary battle to defend the farm and to stay with Bo. This gets Bo to look deeply into himselves and deceive the only thing he loves in the world, his son, to give him a childhood before it is too late.
Julie is a young tennis star who falls in love with his trainer - because she yearns for love and because she wants to liberate themselves from the ambitions which the father has on her behalf. Birgitte Hjort Sørensen has a conflict and fragile Juliet, and Rolf Hansen is the coach who tries to keep Julie from life. Other actors, Jesper Christensen as ambitious and indebted father, Trine Appel as the coach's disdain fiance and Niels Skousen as a nightclub owner. "Julie" is a modern update of August Strindberg's "Miss Julie".
In this second film revolving around the character Bølle Bob, the town mayor and Miss Friis, the stuck-up headmistress, plan to raze Lilleby School to the ground. And it¿s up to Bølle Bob, the class clown, to take charge. Aided by the aging rock musician Valde, Bølle Bob and all his friends put on a musical to recruit new students, so their endangered school can survive. But the mayor and Miss Friis soon reach into their bag of dirty tricks.
