An epic tragedy, based on Nepal's most famous epic poem. Madan, a lower-class worker, is forced by poverty and mounting debts to go to Lhasa, Tibet, leaving behind his lonely mother and beloved wife, Muna. However, tragedy befalls him on the way home.
Usha Poudel, born in Janakpur on August 29, 1977, is a Nepalese dancer and movie actress. She gained recognition with her second movie, "Muna Madan," based on a popular book by Laxmi Prasad Devkota. Usha has appeared in over 40 feature films, 8 television series, and 36 music videos, earning a "Best Actress" award in 2003. Her film "Muna Madan" represented Nepal at the 2004 Oscars. Usha Poudel later moved to Mumbai, where she worked in prime time television shows and modeled for various brands.
