Sounds Like Art invites musicians to play in the midst of works of art in a European museum. In this edition, British pop group Bastille present their new album & at the Turner Contemporary Museum in Margate on the English coast. Lead singer Dan Smith says he is particularly interested in the art of Anya Gallaccio and Antony Gormley.

Alongside dramatic re-interpretations of their hit songs, ReOrchestrated charts the very beginning of the band’s foundations all the way through the highs and lows of their three albums to date, via landmark, full orchestra appearances at Royal Albert Hall, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and The London Palladium, not to mention the inevitable tensions encountered en route.
Indie-pop London quartet Bastille closed out Reading Festival 2019 with a dazzling headline set on the BBC R1 Stage. The band quickly gained huge amounts of widespread praise and popularity after their debut album ‘Bad Blood’ was released way back in the vintage days of 2013. Since then, they’ve gained international superstar status, with their 80s-synth pop-influenced tracks giving us all the feels.
